It was a short easy read but I do like the way she ended this series. That being said I really wish the story had not been turned into a graphic novel so I could have gotten more details into why Jacob decided to go home to Colorado, how Jacob got his memories back, and what those memories were. There really isn’t anything not to like about the story as it is.

It’s just a bound preview edition that’s the first 99 pages of the book itself. I really enjoyed it. Overall, all of this information could have been added to the last book in a short chapter Everything was just so much smaller Stacey’s nightmares are back.
Jacob and Stacey had a long journey, but finally met and it was awesome from there. Laurie Faria Stolarz Massachusetts has a great interest in teen culture, and admires young adults for their passion, energy, and creativity. I ordered Black is for Beginnings actually not realizing it was a graphic novel.

I know with this series I’m not coming in in the right place and in all honesty, I don’t know if I’m the best person to be judging graphic novels. Given the strong reviews for this book, I found it a little disappointing.
But I can say a few things. Okay so reading this graphic novel really really angered me, almost as much as it angers me to call a comic book a graphic novel. Then it was announced that the fifth book would be a graphic novel, a direct sequel to the other four books, and a delighted squeal went up from the fans.

When I got lzurie in the mail I tried it out. I don’t even know. Be the first to ask a question about Black is for Beginnings. Fans of Blue Don’t waste your money, you already know what happens next. I enjoyed this book. I absolutely love this series, and thought that a graphic novel would add another level of interest to the saga. Blue is for Nightmares 5. Since I’d already read the rest of the series, it ended beginmings just being dreadfully boring. To be brutally honest, I felt a little cheated.
I wish that the book had more mystery in it like the other books. Most of it was just a re-telling of what happened foor Red is for Remembrance using illustrations.
