He also gave his ring to Hanumana. He asked Hanuman to narrate the agony of separation to Sita. Now Hanuman and his army of monkeys moved in search of Sita. Bali told Ram if he was searching his wife he should have come to him for help and friendship.
After encouraging Sugriv to challenge Bali for a second time duly wearing a flower garland as a mark of identification between the two brothers, Sugriv challenged Bali for duel. Sugriva was sceptical of the two kshkindha and he asked Hanuman to assess their intentions. A fierce battle ensued between Bali and Sugriv, In the battle, Bali proved his might making Sugriva run for cover.
Sugriva made king of Kishkindha Rama also taught him nuances of statesmanship. Whoever took Sita even if it is Ravan I had defeated them and would have taken them at your feet and at your mercy.
Jambvant urges Hanuman go to Lanka. He advised Sugreev kishkinxha rule justly. Hanumana then gathered all the monkeys and went to Sri Rama to seek his permission. He said that the rest would be accomplished by Sri Rama. Rama and Lakshman continued their search for Sita.
Armies of bears and monkeys were dispatched north, south east and west to search for Sita. Hanuman was joined by Angad, Nala, Kesari and Jambavan as well as many others as they head to the south. One night Mayavi arrived at the doors of Kishkindha and called Bali for a fight.
Sugriv formed an alliance with Ram. Tara asks Sugriva to help Rama and Laxman. He discusses with Hanuman as to whether they kisykindha been sent by his brother Bali.

When Hanumana listened to Jambvant he realized his latent strength. Ram encouraged Sugriv to challenge Bali for a duel and bring him outside Kishkindha.
Sugriv was full of doubts whether Ram could kill Bali. The two hatched a plan to topple Bali from kushkindha throne. As the army approached the coast, Jambavan and Angad saw a cave by the shore of the ocean. Vali accuses Rama of wrongdoing. At the seashore Sampati brother of Jatayu bumped into Hanuman. The island was hundred miles away and and added that whoever cross the vast ocean in one leap would accomplish the task.
Ram told that he could not make out difference between the two brothers for they were alike. Bali came iishkindha only on pacifying Tara, his wife, who deterred Bali from going to fight a duel with Sugriv, as she doubted that Sugriv must had come with Ram. Laxman threatens to destroy Kishkindha after Sugriva did not keep his promise. Sugriva asks Hanuman to search.
