Sad to say, but I could just about forgive Drew all of his notable shortcomings simply because the woman he has been teamed up with has to be the Worst. Margery ot been with them several years at that point. Readers I was sooooo wrong! I was hooked into their romance all the way until the capturing capptive Drew’s ship. Captive of My Desires was a fairly good book but definitely not as good as some of the previous books in the series.
So what can she do but take over Drew’s ship and keep him locked in chains, in his own cabin, only she takes over the bed! For a supposedly honourable man, I found more honour from a pirate than him. The Malory series has to be one of the longest running with its first book published in and Captive of My Desires representing its eight installment.
