The actual discussions of hands are quite informative, though, as Greenstein is as good of a player as you’ll find. Finally, if you ARE looking for hand analysis from one of the top players in the world, Barry covers some of that as well towards the end of this book and it’s good, but Dan Harrington’s book excel far beyond the little stuff that Barry touches upon here no doubt it was added later to cater towards this type of audience.
While Greenstein doesn’t deny making a lot of money at the software giant, it’s more likely that Barry made a nice salary, but nowhere near the gobs of cash that others have made in the industry. There is a good section on hands towards the last third of the book, but I think that it needed to be a bit longer to mske the book be of more value.

Known as the Robin Hood of Poker, Barry has donated nearly three million dollars of his tournament winnings to charity. It also deals with rriver a bit of away-from-the-table stuff, like making sure you have enough rest before you play.

Ace on the River: An Advanced Poker Guide
This book is filled with practical information that will be valuable to intermediate and advanced players. Many sections of the book are targeted at poker professionals, although anyone who plays poker would benefit from those sections as well, if only to know how other players are seeing you.
Don’t come grenstein if you’re looking to improve your poker game. Greenstein at our local casinos from time to time.
